The Anglocatholic Church

On November 11, 2016 by the decree of The Most Reverend Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD, DD, The Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church, the highest organ of the Church – The Patriarch’s Council – has been named The Holy Synod.

On October 25-26, 2016 His Beatitude Patriarch Dr. Heigo Ritsbek attended Congress Reformation 500 in Tallinn, Estonia. The Congress was organized by The Evangelical Lurtheran Church of Estonia.

Patriarch Heigo Ritsbek was lecturing at the meeting of the Estonian Evangelical Students Association meeting about the Reformation on October 6, 2016.

On September 26, 2016, His Beatitude, Patriarch Heigo Ritsbek participated at the roundtable with several other church leaders on the subject of immigration and refugees organized by the Estonian Council of Churches.

The Most Reverend Jeffrey Pangilinan Orellana from Philippines has joined The Anglocatholic Church forming The Diocese of Divine Trinity of The Anglocatholic Church (Philippines). With the bishop joined us 6 parishes and missions, 5 priests and 20 nuns and 2 deacons with a community of three hundred members. Welcome!

Currently there are four members of the Patriarch’s Council of The Anglocatholic Church: Patriarch Heigo Ritsbek (Estonia), Metropolitan Archbishop David Crabtree (U.S.A.), Archbishop Glentis G. Samuel (Canada), and Canon David Smith (Canada).

On August 18th, 2016, The Reverend Father David Smith, priest of the Cathedral of Saint Basil in Toronto, Canada, was elevated by His Beatitude Patriarch, as The Reverend Canon, Senior Advisor to Patriarch and a member of the Patriarch’s Council.

From July 7-9, 2017 there will be the First Conclave of The College of Bishops of The Anglocatholic Church in Tallinn, Estonia. The Holy Masses will be in the Chapel of The Holy Trinity Cathedral in Tallinn, Conclave meetings at conference room of Hotel Metropol, which is the hotel for the participants also. During the Conclave, July 8, 2017, there will be Solemn Mass with Official Enthronement as the Patriarch of the Anglocatholic Church of The Most Reverend Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD, DD.
