Ordination in Nigeria

On Saturday, September 3, 2022, His Eminence, The Most Reverend Dr. Joseph Iorhumba Pevigo, B.Ed., D.D., Metropolitan Archbishop of The Archdiocese of Saint Joseph of The Anglocatholic Church in Nigeria, ordained two new deacons to the deaconate – these new deacons are The Reverend Deacon Stephen Aginde and The Reverend Deacon Vincent Hingir. A Name Change

Due to the new laws concerning clergy in the Russian Federation, our Metropolitan Archbishop there cannot use his name Augustine Urumbayev anymore, but the name as to be as in the Russian passport. So the official name of our Metropolitan Archbishop in Siberia is URUMBAYEV OLEG ANATOLYEVICH.

Festschrift Honors Alumnus Rev. Dr. Heigo Ritsbek

A new festschrift, Scripta Amicis (Tallinn, 2021), with essays in Estonian and English, honors the life and work of Rev. Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, Patriarch of the Anglocatholic Church. Dr. Ritsbek studied under Prof. Dana Robert at the Boston University School of Theology, graduating in 1996 with a DMin. Dr. Ritsbek’s autobiography, Tagasivaade (2020), is also available. Throughout his life, he has ministered in many countries around the world, including Estonia, Germany, United States, Austria, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Latvia, the Ukraine, South Africa, Uganda, France, Canada, Finland, Russia, Georgia, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Denmark, Lithuania, and Italy.
