On November 5th, 2017, The Most Reverend David Smith, MA, MMus, Titular Bishop of Antioch of Pisidia of The Anglocatholic Church, was consecrated a Bishop in Christ’s One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church in Toronto at The Cathedral of Our Lady and Saint Basil by The Most Reverend Glentis Gladstone Samuel, The Metropolitan Archbishop of The Metropolitan Archdiocese of Our Lady and Saint Basil of The Anglocatholic Church and assisted by The Most Reverend Alonso Alvarex from Latin American Anglican Church.

By the invitation of the Estonian Evangelican Students’ Association, His Beatitude, The Most Reverend Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD, DD, Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church visited Agape United Methodist Church in Pärnu, Estonia on October 17, 2017. His Beatitude lectured to the students and answered to their questions. Patriarch Ritsbek was accompanied on this trip with The Most Reverend Dr. Raivo Kodanik, Ordinary of The Diocese of the Blessed Virgin Mary the Mother of God.
On September 26, 2017, there was a Solemn Thanksgiving Service at Tallinn Lutheran Dome Church, as Bishop, The Most Reverend Einar Soone, celebrated his 70th birthday. At the Worship service Archbishop Urmas Viilma, Archbishop Andres Põder, Bishop Joel Luhamets, Bishop Tiit Salumäe and other Lutheran dignitaries were serving together with ecumenical guests from Roman Catholic, Orthodox and United Methodist Churches. Among the invited guests was also His Beatitude Patriarch Heigo Ritsbek.
On September 23, 2017 His Beatitude, The Most Reverend Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD, DD, Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church elevated two more members to the Holy Synod of The Anglocatholic Church – His Eminence, The Most Reverend Emmanuel Kwasi Mensah, The Archbishop of The Archdiocese of Saint John the Apostle and His Excellency, The Most Reverend Jeffrey Pangilinan Orellana, The Bishop of The Diocese of Divine Trinity.
Currently there are seven members at The Holy Synod of The Anglocatholic Church: His Beatitude Patriarch Heigo Ritsbek (Estonia); His Eminence Metropolitan Archbishop Glentis G. Samuel (Canada); His Eminence Archbishop Raphael Marie Villiere (France); His Eminence Archbishop Emmanuel Kwasi Mensah (Ghana); His Excellency Bishop Paul J. Boardman, Jr. (United States); His Excellency Bishop David Smith (Canada); and His Excellency Bishop Jeffrey Pangilinan Orellana (Philippines). Now all 4 continents of the world are represented in The Holy Synod, where The Anglocatholic Church is ministering: Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.
By the decree of His Beatitude, The Most Reverend Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD, DD, Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church, from September 13, 2017, His Eminence, The Most Reverend Raphael Marie Villiere, Archbishop of The Archdiocese of Mary the Matriatrix of All Graces of The Anglocatholic Church (France) has been appointed as a member of The Holy Synod of The Anglocatholic Church. Also Archbishop Villiere has been named as the Special Advisor to the Patriarch on French Diocesis.
