On Sunday, August 13, 2017, during the Solemn Pontifical Mass, His Beatitude, The Most Reverend Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD, DD, Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church, gave crozier to The Most Reverend Dr. Raivo Kodanik, DD, Bishop of The Diocese of The Blessed Virgin Mary the Mother of God in Estonia.
On 5th of August, 2017 His Beatitude, The Most Reverend Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD,DD, Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church named The Reverend Canon David Smith, MA, MMus, as a Titular Bishop of Antioch of Pisidia. He will be consecrated soon as a Bishop in Toronto by The Reverend Glentis G. Samuel, Dip.Theol, M.Div., Metropolitan Archbishop of The Metropolitan Archdiocese of Saint Basil of The Anglocatholic Church.
On August 4 – 6, 2017 there was the First Conclave of The Anglocatholic Church and the Meeting of The Holy Synod. What were the results? We experienced a unique unity in love relationship between our clergy; we decided to make our Canon Law legal for all over the Anglocatholic Church: two bishops were consecrated by Patriarch Dr. Heigo Ritsbek and assisted by Metropolitan Archbishop Glentis Samuel – these men are Bishop Paul Boardman, Jr. and Bishop Mathew Mount; Canon David Smith was nominated by the Patriarch a Titular Bishop of Antioch of Pisidia; it was decided that the next Holy Synod Meeting will be in late June 2019 in Toronto (Canada), the next Conclave place and time for 2021 was not determined yet; we had great Enthronement Solemn Mass of Patriarch Dr. Heigo Ritsbek; we had wonderful lectures by Bishop David Smith and Metropolitan Archbishop Glentis Samuel and very fruitful and encouraging theological and liturgical discussions; fellowships around meal times etc. Very blessed time together!

On August 6, 2017 the Solemn Liturgy for Enthronement of the Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church was celebrated and later the Conclave was ended with the Liturgy of Commissioning.
On Sunday August 6, 2017 The Conclave of The Anglocatholic Church continued with Morning Mass celebrated by Bishop David Smith and continued with a lecture by Metropolitan Archbishop Glentis Samuel about preaching.
During the Second Day of the Conclave of the Anglocatholic Church an excellent lecture was given about Liturgy by The Reverend Canon David Smith. Then there was Consecration Mass where Fr. Paul Boardman Jr and Fr. Mathew Mount were consecrated bishops by Patriarch Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, assisted by Metropolitan Archbishop Glentis Samuel. And by the decree of the Patriarch Canon Smith was nominated as Titular Bishop of Antioch of Pisidia.
On August 4, 2017 The Conclave of The Anglocatholic Church began in Seekonk, MA, USA. The Opening Mass was celebrated by Metropolitan Archbishop Glentis Samuel. At the Meeting of the Holy Synod the Canon Law was declared legal and many other issues were discussed.
By the decree of His Beatitude, The Most Reverend Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD; DD, Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church, Bishop Elect Fr Paul Jacob Boardman, Jr. has been named as a member of The Holy Synod of The Anglocatholic Church effective immediately, July 14, 2017. Currently the members of The Holy Synod are: Patriarch Dr. Heigo Ritsbek; Metropolitan Archbishop Glentis Samuel; Canon David Smith; Bishop Elect Paul Jacob Boardman, Jr.
Patriarch Heigo Ritsbek will participate with his wife on July 20, 20017 in Caen, France at an Ecumenical Synod organized by Bishop Dominique Hershko from Byzantine Church. Representatives from Gallican Church and other churches will be present too. In connection with the Synod Patriarch Heigo and his wife Ülle are guests of Bishop Hershko from July 15 – 22, 2017.
