Holy Synod of The Anglocatholic Church

On September 8, 2020, by the decree of His Beatitude, The Most Reverend Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD, DD, Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church, The Most Reverend Julio Cesar Diazgranados Fandino, Ordinary of the Diocese of Saint Patrick (Colombia) of The Anglocatholic Church, has been named as a Member of The Holy Synod of The Anglocatholic Church, the highest organ of The Anglocatholic Church and the only legislative body of The Anglocatholic Church. The current six members of The Holy Synod of The Anglocatholic Church are: Patriarch Dr. Heigo Ritsbek (Estonia); Patriarch Coadjutor Dr. Raphael Marie Villiere (France); Primate Dr. Earl Lewis Frazier (United States); Primate Dr. Ian Charles Adrian (Australia); Primate Dr. Joseph Iorhumba Pevigo (Nigeria), and Bishop Julio Cesar Diazgranados Fandino (Colombia). Prefect Dr. David Smith (Canada) is the Consultant to the Holy Synod of The Anglocatholic Church. As we see five continents are represented here, we hope to have soon also a representative of Asia.

Patriarch Established Our School of Ministry

By the decree of His Beatitude, The Most Reverend Dr. HEIGO RITSBEK, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD, DD, Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church, on September 7, 2020 The Holy Trinity Anglocatholic School of Ministry was established. President of this distance learning school is Patriarch Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, Dean Primate Dr. Earl L. Frazier, Local Supervisor of The Studies is Primate Joseph Pevigo (Nigeria). Currently Nigeria is our only Satellite Campus, but they may be established around the world in different places. We will open from September 1, 2021 one degree Program – degree is Bachelor of Ministry (B.Min). Faculty Members are currently: Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, Dr. David Smith, Primate Joseph Pevigo. We hope to begin next September with 5 students in Nigeria. Also there are possibilities to form other Satellite Campuses. At the same time we have established a special program for Bishops and Bishop-Elects without earned theological degrees to receive Master of Ministry (M.M.) degree. For these our Bishops and Bishops Elects who have not a theological degree, have other degrees and honorary degrees, it is a possbility to get a theological degree from our School of Ministry – Master of Ministry (M.M.)

The Anglocatholic Church Statistics September 1, 2020

The Anglocatholic Church is around the world in thirty-one countries: Australia, Angola, Argentina, Brazil, Burundi, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, DR Congo, Ecuador, Estonia, France, Gabon, Haiti, Italy, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Peru, Russia, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Switzerland, Tanzania, Uganda, United States and in Venezuela in eleven archdioceses and fifteen dioceses in 123 parishes with 31,444 faithful members. Among them are 26 bishops, 151 priests, and 57 deacons, total 234 clergymen. The Anglocatholic Church is in ministry in 12 countries in Africa, 9 countries in Latin & South America, 5 countries in Europe, 2 countries in North America, 2 countries in Asia, 1 country in Oceania.

Kingdomtide XXII Sunday in Tallinn, Estonia

On Sunday August 30, 2020, at the XXII Sunday of Kingdomtide, The Holy Mass was celebrated at The Cathedral of The Holy Trinity of the Diocese of Blessed Virgin Mary the Mother of God, in Tallinn, Estonia, by His Excellency, The Most Reverend Dr. Raivo Kodanik, DD, Ordinary of The Diocese. Patriarch Decree from August 28, 2020

On August 28, 2020, His Beatitude, The Most Reverend Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD, DD, Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church, gave a decree, changing the position of service of His Eminence, The Most Reverend Dr. David A. Smith, BMus, MMus, DD, Metropolitan Archbishop. His Eminence Metropolitan Archbishop and Prefect of the Office of Liturgy and Office of Canon Law, based on the request from His Eminence, is released from duties serving as a Member of The Holy Synod, the Vice-Prefect of the Office of the Consecrations and as a Senior Advisor to the Patriarch. At the same time His Eminence, The Most Reverend Dr. David A. Smith, BMus, MMus, DD, will become the Consultant to The Holy Synod of The Anglocatholic Church.

Decrees of The Patriarch On August 26, 2020

On August 26, 2020, His Beatitude, The Most Reverend Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD, DD, Patriarch of the Anglocatholic Church has given the following decrees effective immediately:
The Primate of All Africa of The Anglocatholic Church will be Metropolitan Archbishop Joseph Iorhumba Pevigo;
Metropolitan Archdiocese of Saint Joseph of The Anglocatholic Church includes now 4 countries (Cameroon, Gabon, DR Congo, Nigeria) under His Eminence Metropolitan Archbishop Joseph Iorhumba Pevigo;
Diocese of Mary – Mother of God (Cameroon) is led now by His Excellency Bishop Moisie Omie, administration of the diocese is under Bishop Elect Emmanuel Segue;
The Members of The Holy Synod of The Anglocatholic Church are: Patriarch Dr. Heigo Ritsbek (Estonia), Patriarch Coadjutor Dr. Raphael Marie Villiere (France), Primate Dr. Ian Adrian (Australia), Primate Dr. Earl Lewis Frazier (United States), Metropolitan Archbishop Dr. David A. On August 25, 2012, His Beatitude, The Most Reverend Dr. HEIGO RITSBEK, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD, DD, Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church, was consecrated a Bishop in Christ’s One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church in Kasese, Uganda, Africa.
