5.3 In the Sacrifice of the Mass, Christ Himself acts along with His Church,
through the ministry of the Priest. Christ offers Himself as substantially
present under the species of Bread and Wine. He offers Himself to God, his
Father, as a sacrifice for our reconciliation, his body broken and his blood
shed for our redemption. He gives Himself as spiritual food to the faithful
who thereby unite themselves in His offering. The Bread and Wine of the
Mass become for us the very Body and Blood of Christ. In this memorial of
his Cross and Passion and the great love He bears for us, we hope to become
a living sacrifice in Jesus Christ, our Lord and show in our lives the fruits of
his redemption.
23.6 All Bishops of the Anglocatholic Church are required by obligation to
donate to or tithe to the Patriarch Fund of the Church on a regular basis,
and at least once per annum. Participation in this aspect of the life
of our Church is linked to participation in the governance of the
Anglocatholic Church within the Holy Synod and to advancement
within the hierarchy of this Church and full membership of
The College of Bishops of The Anglocatholic Church.

Vos Éminences, Excellences, Clergé et fidèles membres de l’Église Anglo-Catholique !
Si je peux paraphraser le message de Saint Paul aux Corinthiens (1 Cor. 15:10), alors nous pouvons dire à propos de l’Église Anglo-Catholique de son 4ème Anniversaire : par la grâce de Dieu nous sommes ce que nous sommes. Cela a été une période courte, mais pleine d’activités diverses. Nous avons fait l’expérience de grandes bénédictions de Dieu, en même temps qu’il y a eu plusieurs histoires tristes, qui nous ont rendus uniquement dépendants de la grâce de Dieu.
Actuellement, nous sommes actifs dans 30 pays du monde, dans 104 missions ou paroisses. Notre clergé est composé de 241 fidèles membres – 29 évêques, 153 prêtres et 59 diacres. Et le nombre total de nos membres dans le monde est de 28 832 personnes.
Est-ce trop peu pour des activités de 4 ans ? Je crois que l’une des caractéristiques de base est la fidélité. Étant une église autosuffisante (certains peuvent nous appeler aussi l’Église des pauvres pour les pauvres), elle a certainement donné lieu à de nombreux défis. En tant que votre Patriarche, j’ai ressenti la dépression et mes fautes pour mener cette communauté de foi à une meilleure vie d’Église et à de meilleurs résultats dans notre ministère. Mais nous sommes restés fidèles par la grâce de Dieu ! Loué soit-il : Le Père, le Fils et le Saint-Esprit.
Je dois dire qu’il y a eu des gens qui se sont joints à nous dans l’espoir d’obtenir quelque chose, même matériellement. Et ils ont été déçus et sont partis. Certaines personnes du clergé ont dû être déposées et excommuniées. Nous sommes une Église avec une vision et une discipline très claires – notre droit canonique énonce très clairement ce que nous croyons et quelles sont les exigences pour faire partie de l’Église Anglo-Catholique.
Je suis très béni et reconnaissant lorsque je reçois des lettres du clergé et des membres laïcs contenant des messages positifs, grâce au Seigneur Jésus-Christ, notre Sauveur ! Car il y a beaucoup de choses dont nous pouvons tous être très reconnaissants. Lorsque nous voyons différents événements sur notre site web, il y a alors beaucoup de joie. Nous devons simplement le voir ! Nous venons de terminer le Code de droit canonique révisé de l’Église Anglo-Catholique, ce processus a été mené par le Très Révérend Dr. David Smith, Patriarche coadjuteur de l’Église Anglo-Catholique. Plusieurs questions pratiques de ce processus ont été dirigées par Mgr Lars Sperling, Evêque du diocèse de Saint Luc de l’Église Anglo-Catholique. Je suis très heureux des dernières consécrations d’Evêques par Mgr Raphaël Marie Villière, Primat de toute l’Europe de l’Église Anglo Catholique. Et je peux continuer à mentionner plusieurs de nos très merveilleux Evêques – merci beaucoup pour ce que vous avez fait pour le Royaume de Dieu ! Je suis désolé que nous n’ayons pas de médailles à vous remettre, mais demandons les bénédictions spéciales de Dieu pour vous !
Que pouvons-nous attendre de l’avenir ? Être également dépendant de la grâce de Dieu. L’année prochaine, le deuxième conclave du Collège des Evêques de l’Église Anglo Catholique que nous voulons célébrer par la grâce et la miséricorde de Dieu.

Message on the 4th Anniversary of The Anglocatholic Church
(February 21, 2016):
Your Eminences, Excellencies, Clergy and Faithful Members of The Anglocatholic Church!
If I can paraphrase the message in Saint Paul’s message to Corinthians (1 Cor. 15:10), then we may say concerning The Anglocatholic Church of its 4th Anniversary: by the grace of God we are what we are. It has been a short time, but time full of various activities. We have experienced great blessings of God, at the same time there have been several sad stories, which made us only dependant on the grace of God.
Just now we are active in 30 countries of the world at 104 missions or parishes. Our clergy consists of 241 faithful men – 29 bishops, 153 priests, and 59 deacons. And our total membership around the world is 28,832 people.
Is it too little for 4 year activities? I believe that one basic charachteristics have been faithfulness. Being a self-supporting church (some may call us also church of poor to the poor), it certainly has given a lot of challenges. As your Patriarch, I have felt depression and my faults to lead this community of faith to better church life and better results in our ministry. But we have stayed faithful from the grace of God! Praise to Him: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
I have to say, that there have been people, who have joined us with hopes to get something, even materialistically big. And they have been disappointed and left. Some people among clergy we have had to depose and excommunicate. We are a church with very clear vision and discipline – our Canon Law states very clearly what we believe and what are the requirements to be part of The Anglocatholic Church.
It has made me very blessed and thankful, when I receive letters from clergy and lay members with positive messages, with thanks to The Lord Jesus Christ, Our Saviour! Because there are very many things we can all be very thankful for. When we see different events on our website, then there is a lot of joy. We simply need to see it! Just now we finished The Revised Code of Canon Law of The Anglocatholic Church, this process was led by The Most Reverend Dr. David Smith, Patriarch Coadjutor of The Anglocatholic Church. Several practical issues in this process were led by The Most Reverend Lars Sperling, Bishop of The Diocese of Saint Luke of The Anglocatholic Church. I am very happy for the last consecrations of Bishops by The Most Reverend Dr. Raphael Marie Villiere, Primate of All Europe of The Anglocatholic Church. And I can go on and on mentioning several our most wonderful bishops – thank you very much what you have done for The Kingdom of God! I am sorry that we do not have Medals to give to you, but we ask the special blessings of God to you!
What we can expect from the future? Also to be dependent of the grace of God. Next year The Second Conclave of The College of Bishops of The Anglocatholic Church we want to celebrate from the grace and mercy of God.
May Almighty God – The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit bless you all abundantly!
