August 24 – 27, 2023 there was in Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo, the First Convocation of the Anglocatholic Church in Africa. Participants came from three countries: Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo and from Republic of Congo. Seven Bishops of The Anglocatholic Church participated and 30 Priests and 3 Deacons. There was one ecumenical visitor – a Bishop from Free Anglican Communion. Also representatives from civil and military authorities were present. At the Final Solemn Mass one deacon and one priest were ordained.

HEIGO RITSBEK, Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church, celebrates his consecration’s 11th anniversary as a Bishop in Christ’s One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, on August 25th, 2023. He was consecrated a Bishop by The Most Reverend Kiiza Thomas in Uganda, Africa, on August 25th, 2012.
