On April 8, 2025, New Diocese of The Anglocatholic Church in the Republic of Congo was established – Diocese of Our Lady of the Great Power, led by His Excellency, Bishop Chris Bienvenu Nkounkonu.

From the information of Primate, His Eminence Dr. Charles Macaire Miafoundi, The Anglocatholic Church has been established in Central African Republic, led by The Reverend Pere Charles Fofana Gononzapa, as Apostolic Vicar.
