On Saturday 3, 2020, we had our first meeting of The College of Bishops of The Anglocatholic Church by ZOOM.COM. It was great to have 4 Bishops present: Patriarch Heigo Ritsbek, Primate Joseph Pevigo, Primate Earl Frazier, and Metropolitan Archbishop David Smith. We are looking more Bishops to join us in ZOOM next time – on October 17, 2020!
By the decision of The Holy Trinity Anglocatholic Church School of Ministry has decided to honor The Reverend Siim Teekel, the Senior Pastor of Oleviste Baptist Church in Tallinn, Estonia. Oleviste Baptist Church is a great church with membership of 2,000. The Reverend Siim Teekel was given Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)honoris causa.
As the decision of The Holy Synod of The Anglocatholic Church the leaders of Holy Trinity Anglocatholic School of Ministry leaders were honored – both the President Dr. Heigo Ritsbek and the Dean Dr. Earl Lewis Frazier were given Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) honorary degrees.
On Sunday, September 20, 2020, the greatest Baptist Church in Northern Europe – Oleviste Baptist Church in Tallinn, Estonia, with 2,000 members, celebrated its 70th anniversary. The greeting from His Beatitude, The Most Reverend Dr. Heigo Ritsbek, Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church, was also read at the Solemn Worship Service.
His Beatitude, The Most Reverend, Dr. HEIGO RITSBEK, MA, MDiv, DMin, LittD, DD, The Patriarch of The Anglocatholic Church, is involved just now in writing process of five books. In November 2020 there has to appear his first book – autobiography, titled “Looking Back”, next year there will be published “Festschrift Heigo Ritsbek 70”, and then comes a collection of lectures by The Patriarch at different theological schools and universities under title “Scripta in Theologia” and also later his fourth book, he is also writing just now, about the Holy Eucharist, titled “Heaven on Earth”. Also a booklet “The Anglocatholic Church” (in English) is in very early stage just now. All other books will be published in Estonian.
At our Holy Trinity Anglocatholic School of Ministry the lowest level regular students will begin distance learning from September 2021 for Bachelor of Ministry (B.Min.) degree, at the same time proposed Bishops Track for receiving Master of Ministry (M.Min.) is already working, as some Bishops of our Church are working with their dissertation – details given in my email to them. From opening the School of Ministry two first honorary degrees – Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) have been given out.
